Why does this site even exist?
I need to find a purpose for this site. With my multimedia files lost in the ether forever, I don’t have much content to put up. So, I either need to abandon this site altogether or figure something else out. Updating wordpress seemed like it would be a huge chore; I have a tendency of breaking things when i ‘fix’ them unnecessarily. I think I will try to update my resume on here tonight, though.
OK…sooooo
I’ve got a few positive changes going on. The resume has been tweaked and I now have a LinkedIn account. This weekend, I’m going to TRY to get ahold of our Director projects, convert them to flash up at CMU, and embed them in the multimedia section. I have no other access to Director and have no idea if the files I have were the final versions or just chunks. I also need to update the resume on the site, as well.
Work is work. I’ve been running a lot more to try to get in better shape. I definitely am, though I’ve not lost any weight yet. Hopefully soon. Feels good.

I think it’s time to start looking for a new job again. I like the current one; I’m just tired of being poor. Sooo… today I set up an account on dice.com. I’ll have to check back in on that frequently and post some applications. I still like the idea of going back to school, community college or to Central for a master’s. It’s hard to see me being able to gather up that kind of money without doing loans (not an idea I like at all). I’ve recently been doing a better job of investing, but it’s just not cutting it. If I’m ever going to get a house or be able to move, I need more income. Period.
Lil’ Update
Nothing much new to report…
Still working at the ’shack(s), still driving the same car, still living back home, still haven’t found any of my Director or Flash projects to post under the multimedia tab :/ . It’s ok, though. Could be worse for sure. I need to bust out the ol’ camera and do something creative. There’s a thought.

Internet explorer doesn’t display my favicon and I can’t figure out how to make it work. I’ll try to think of something. But in the meantime, use firefox 
I’ve added some layouts done with QuarkXpress in the Photojournalism album. Somewhere in all the conversions, the colors got washed out and look horrible. I couldn’t find the final version of the photo story, either (but it’s close to what the final was like).
If I can get Curt’s computer running again, he may have some of our multimedia files to get embedded into the multimedia page, too. So hopefully it’s salvageable and he still has ‘em. We worked really hard on some of those.
I should really start adding content to this site…
